Architectural

Another glorious day, once the cloud burned off which today happened very quickly.  I did some gentle housework ie the ironing before decamping to the garden and that's where I spent the day.  There was a break at 1 to Skype Olivia.  They were sitting on the balcony with friends having beers. But it felt like I was there too, although no beer. Olivia was funny, copying everything I did and definitely knew it was me.  Her friend Teddy kept trying to find me in the phone.

Back with the plants I planted planters, tidied the garage and summerhouse/shed, cut the grass, pruned another couple of branches from the rowan and the spring flowering shrubs, planted bedding, front and back and some seeds.  A bit late, but hey ho!   And I threw out loads of plant pots.  The ground is really hard, and dry though.  It really needs a good turning over and some compost.  Not this summer though.

It was nearly 8 before I came in to eat and then fall asleep in front of 'Wallender'.   No wonder after all that work today.

The blip is the fronds of the Pasque flower in the rockery.
