A Little faded Grandeur

This is Bantry House, on the outskirts of Bantry town and overlooking the Bay. I decided to treat myself to a coffee ( they have a very good cafe ) and sit in the conservatory overlooking the garden, I had the place to myself, it was quite peaceful and beautiful, many years ago when my girls were small, this is a place I would visit, I could enjoy the garden, while they played on the grass. These days the house is a wonderful venue for various events including The Masters of Tradition, The Literary Festival and The Chamber Music Festival. Today there was a craft fair on exhibiting some wonderful work from local crafts people.
