Scrumptious Croyde

Busy day today - I was one of three Club members who volunteered to take photographs of runners in a Charity Event organised by our local Hospital Charity - the one I volunteer for.  We are raising funds for extra equipment for the SCBU that the gov can't afford/provide. The course is set to travel through some small villages where local shops provide small taster snacks for runners such as ice-cream/miniburgers/smoothies/g&t/beer/scones etc etc - hence the Scrumptious bit of the title. I did not get to all the watering holes to see everything provided but gather it was all very delicious!
The theme for those runners/walkers who wished to dress up was Farming and it was amazing to see what lengths some went too. See extra…..running/walking 10 miles in that costume must have been tough!  The weather was kind - overcast but no rain thankfully. Everyone appeared to enjoy themselves and hopefully a lot of money will be raised.

Huge thanks for all the favs and likes for the bashful gull of yesterday; he  has flown onto page 1 - my first taste of  pageoneblip glory! Very grateful.
