Rough times....

Poppies are said to thrive best in roughed up or uncultivated soil and these certainly were today. They seemed to say lots to me today, that life is precious and beautiful and will survive the hard times, even when the going isn't easy. How precious friends are during these times. 

I heard news that a very dear friend has to have immediate open heart surgery...tomorrow if possible.  We cried. I am praying for her. God cares.
