Witley Court
As Isobel was in London for the weekend and Freya was at work, and it was too hot for Alfie to venture out, I went to the fantastically ruined Witley Court.
Following a devastating fire in 1937 the magnificent house was never repaired or rebuilt and the ruin now sits amongst some fantastic rhododendron gardens, with a fully working fountain in the splendid landscaped grounds.
A very intriguing place, lots of opportunities for great photos, stunning architecture but all a bit forlorn.
Extras are the fountain and the rear of the house
