A sunny few hours

...at the allotment. Despite the lack of sun and cool temperatures all week, the weeds had grown in abundance. I planted up my tomatoes and courgettes along with some sunflowers. Then weeded, watered and strimmed - the bracken was shooting up.  It was very warm and sunny, so I was relieved to get home in the cool and have a drink and something to eat.   This picture shows the entrance to my allotment as seen from inside my plot. I managed to recover the gate from the undergrowth earlier in the year.
