Cottage Garden

After a morning spent on the allotment I made a late decision to go and visit the 'Secret Gardens of Otterton'.  By then the sun had come out and I had less than two hours to go round the 12 gardens.  I made 10 of them and walked a fair distance doing so.  The gardens were a delightful mix of mainly cottage gardens including several thatched cottages.  Some had wide spread views, others had different levels involved and all of them a colourful display of flowers.

I didn't have much time to take photos but I did like this small secluded area around the back of one of the properties.  It was only when I got home that I realised this was one of the photos used on the entry leaflet.
