Today has been a beach day

I walked down to the beach for some longed for exercise this morning , and had lunch in the lovely Cafe del Mar - roast beef with Yorkshire pudding and homemade horseradish ... delightful ! I made the usual mistake of having a starter , plus a home made sherry trifle for pudding ! Whoops ! I couldn't move for a couple of hours !! I struck up conversation with such a lovely couple from Derbyshire, who insisted on buying me another glass of wine ! Whoops (again!) I arrived at the restaurant at 1.15, and left at 4.45 - a sign of excellent food, and wonderful company !
Now for a quiet evening catching up with my book , and a G & T x
