Never Mind The Saliva
After being bothered by a little bit of mud yesterday, my daughter has very quickly settled into the rural way of life. We had a lovely morning at Staunton Country Park, just ten minutes walk from home. She got stuck right in feeding the goats, sheep, cows etc, letting them eat from her hand. She laughed a lot when this cow covered her hand in saliva. My son took a lot longer to get into this, most of the time throwing food or dropping it on the ground. Eventually, after a couple of hours, he did let the animals eat out of his hand.
This afternoon we will be doing the rounds meeting neighbours. Busy, busy, busy. Lucky I was able to get that 15km run in at 5.30 this morning.
