Bobath Dragon Boating...

Today we headed over to Loch Lomond to defend our Dragon Boat race title which we won on our debut last year.

Although we had the weather, the company and the atmosphere, it was all about the charity for which at last count was over 3500 pounds for the Bobath Cerebal Palsy centre in Glasgow with still more to be add to that total.

So we were up against a wider ranging opponents and although we were defeated by fractions of seconds in the heats and went in the 4 boat final fourth fastest, we pulled a second place out of the bag. As one of our appointed motivational speaker said, we left it all on the Loch and came ashore with nothing but a wonderful experience.
