The Bride to Be

This is my lovely niece, Kendra, opening gifts at her Bridal Shower today.  I took a lot of pictures but the light in the house was really challenging.  I rarely do interior shots but I got plenty of practice today.  There's still a lot of room for improvement but they weren't too bad.  I hope she likes them!

I have very sad news from the Osprey nest.  Three of the four chicks have died and only the most recently hatched one is still hanging on.  It looks healthy but so did the others.  They were so successful with their babies last year, I didn't even imagine this happening.  I hope #4 is still with them in the morning....
