Muhammad Ali

A special kind of hero.  I had the privilege of meeting him a couple of times.   He was very supportive of Parkinson Research at Emory University.   Our favorite encounter was when my husband was entertaining a Professor  from Japan who he had worked with in Japan.   We were treated like royalty while in Japan.    We had to come up with a way to reciprocate, when the Professor came to Atlanta.and although we had a delightful time and did some very nice entertaining it never felt enough.  Then out to dinner on the last night another party came through the restaurant, including  Mr. Ali  who walked by our table and accidentally bumped the visiting professor.  My husband informed the professor that it was Mohammad Ali who had bumped into him and our guest was overjoyed mimicking the very famous raising of the torch at the Olympics.
