beach fun

Who knew you could have fun on a beach in Cumbria? I certainly didn't, let alone that you could actually 'swim' in the sea! OK it wasn't a New Zealand beach but it we paddled and found crabs and starfish and jumped the small waves and got sand in our pants and sun on our faces...bliss. Also managed to cut my foot up on the small bannacles which has not been so fun, hobble, hobble go I.

Then it was a BBQ with friends by the lake and a general sense of 'aren't we lucky that we live here'. Loving our summer start...
