RaceRunning comp at Stoke Mandeville!
There was a disability sports competition held at Stoke Mandeville today (which is a good 3 and a bit hours from where we live). A couple of my other good mates went along too. It was nice to be around and talk to people that have the same difficulties as myself.
I had been entered in for the 100m and the 200m. I absolutely love 100m because you don't have to worry about direction (you can just go for it!). On the 200m however, you have to factor in the curve. The first time I did 200m I knocked a kid off his race runner! Oops. Thankfully, that did NOT happen this time. I came first in both races! I am now confident enough to try 400m soon!
