Kefalonia Dreaming

Today I slept a great deal. When I finally woke about midday, I surfaced from a dream in which I had been saying that, although we had checked out of our hotel room, we could still use their pool and garden as long as we frequented the bar.
This thought made me very happy, until I realised that the hotel was in Kefalonia and we were now back in the UK. Damn, how did that happen?

Tge rest of the day was about Laundry. I washed and attempted to dry and put away several loads. I even put away my winter jumpers and sorted through some summer stuff that can go back to a different charity shop from the ones it came from. Do clothes have homing instincts?

The house was tidy, but I had been very disorganised before I left, and shoved a load of disparate items in my study. These now need sorting. I made a start. That is all I could do.

Sadly I forgot to take any photos today, and am well behind already. So, here is a cheat blip of our last supper at the Paspalis taverna. I had moussaka, and Steve had Briam, which is a sort of Kefalonian version of ratatouille. Both delicious, as usual. We are missing the food already, and are so glad to have stumbled across a hotel with such a superb restaurant. Roll on, next holiday...
