Vienetta

The boys enjoying the 80's dessert of choice Vienetta. Mmm!

Day started slowly followed by a late morning ride just me and Lime. We went around the res and did lots of cantering. Lime got a bit sticky as finally things starting to warm up. My new smart watch obvs thought I was walking and climbing stairs as during the ride it kept beeping at me to tell me i had smashed my daily target! Trouble is the target is going to now get harder and harder.

Had a cat to feed, which was bloody miles away. At least a 20 min drive on from the yard then a half hour drive home. There was noone else to do it this weekend though and they are good dog walking customers.

The kids and Mike went out to get new chooks this morning. They've settled really well. Bit of pecking from Mrs Bennett, the original chook. Toby chose a grey one and called it Feather. Eva chose a white one and called it Elsa.

We went over to James and Lynne's for a BBQ. Not seen them in ages. The twins are getting really big now and so excited to be able to get around in their walkers. So made up to be asked to be Hannah's godmother and Mike her godfather!

Got the kids in bed as now trying to force myself to tackle a bit more painting in the bedroom. Mike has disappeared off up the allotment, but I suspect he's at Eddie's having a beer and a gossip.
