Media City

Another trip out today down to Salford Quays where we had a varied day full of visits to the Imperial War Museum, The Lowry Exhibition and Media City.

After getting up close to some iconic TV landmarks such as The Rovers Return, The Tardis and some Daleks we then went for a tour round the Imperial War Museum where the first thing we saw was a WW1 bomber which was on loan from The Fleet Air Arm back home in Yeovil.

Definitely another thumbs up and well worth a visit as there's loads to do plus a varied range of shops and eateries too.

Heading back down South tomorrow after a relaxing few days visiting family. Looking forward to a few more days off with little miss before returning to work on Wednesday.
