Day 4.............

We had the moth trap out again last night , striking while the iron is hot , as they say. Biggest catch so far this year .....10 moths ! It has been far too cold and damp for them but the burst of warm summery weather has started to bring them out. We had 1 of these Lunar Thorns on the trap but this one was hiding in the clematis and was just so beautiful! It is also a lovely coloured moth with touches of ' bronze' on it so maybe a WBC entry too.
