Dougal on display

We took a wander up to the degree show at Edinburgh College of Art this morning. As usual, we were disappointed with what passed for painting. However, the fashion and costume pieces were superb. I was particularly taken by the Dougal and Magic Roundabout creations (as blipped). We also liked some of the pieces created by the illustration students, but no purchases were made.

We stopped off for lunch at Bentoya, then came home via Princes Street Gardens, where we bought ice creams for our pudding.

The rest of the afternoon has been one of calendar coordination and travel/accommodation booking for various commitments between now and Christmas.

Exercise today: walking (14,694 steps). Running will resume on Monday, by which time I think my cold will be long gone.
