Mannahatta

Although I had seen in many times in pictures and movies it still sent a chill down my spine to see the big skyscrapers in real and hear the constant low pitch buzz of the city. It sends your imagination wild to imaging how long it will last and what it will look like in a 1000 years time, will it ever return to its original Mannahatta?
It took two jetplanes to bring down two of its buildings but the others still stand. The 9/11 memorial was simple and moving, two square holes in the ground with a beautiful waterfall running into its depths and surrounded by many newly planted oak trees and ivy.  A close up of a single rose stuck into one of the names surrounding the waterfall seen in todays extra. One day these trees will be old and big, the ivy may have spread beyond its confined beds.
