Old and New

New back Brakes, my handbrake was virtually non existant and as the car is due for its TÜV in August something needed to be done. Last week our friend, who is a Master Mechanic, pulled one side and discovered it wasn't just Shoes, the drums were past their best, so needed renewing too. Lucky for us he could get all the bits Trade Price and today he did the swap, what a mess! Done now but everything was clogged with black dust or rust, so dismantling was a challenge but all is done and the Brakes are great now. When you think the old ones have been around the World at least 4 times, one should not complain...
