Catmint for Sure

You may remember this picture from April. Now catmint is taking over the living room. The plan for this weekend is for me to re-pot this in a planter large enough for cats to roll around in it.

Today was a much better day. Although still beautiful and warm, no pollen shot up my nose today. And I had NO meetings at work. Not one. That's what we call a "win".

I also popped along to the optician to see what was going on with my eyes. I hadn't been in 14 years - ever since I had my eyes laser-zapped. It turns out that my astigmatism and short-sightedness are still fine, but I do need reading glasses now. I kind of knew this and am not upset about it. In fact, I am rather looking forward to reading books and peering over the top of glasses at people, like Professor Yaffle.

Incidentally, I have just looked him up and it turns out his full name is Augustus Barclay Yaffle. That makes me happy.
