Nine cygnets

We went for a wander up and around Blackford Hill in the afternoon sun. On the pond is a swan family with 9 cygnets; hard work it seemed to keep then together and safe. Earlier I had gone out, and walked around the soon to be demolished St James Centre (except John Lewis. The extras are a colour and black and white version of steps heading towards the old Scottish Office, It's a brave new world of rubbish architecture, but the plans for its replacement are very odd.
