Blipmeet!

One of the highlights of my trip was getting to meet up with another blipper....Nanzy19 and i have been commenting back and forth for quite a few years and so when i knew i was heading out her way we decided to get together!  Not only is she a blipper but she also hails from Scotland!!!   It was a total delight meeting her, and we gabbed pretty well non stop for almost 3 hours!!!!   Bronwyn sat with us for the first 1/2 hour and then headed off for an appointment.  We thought we would go for a walk after we'd chatted a bit....but when Bronwyn returned, almost 3 hours later, we were still sitting in the same place, with our second drink!   So much to share.....talking about our pasts, she moved away from Glasgow when she was much younger than i was when i came here from Edinburgh.   We laughed and just enjoyed each other so much. 

Feels very much like i've now got a 'real' friend out there.....thanks again for making the trip from Saltspring Island, i so appreciated it. 

The other highlight was going to see Emily Carr's home.   The extras are mostly of that visit.   I was so excited to be inside the home of one of my favorite artists!
