Cherry Festival

The Cherry Festival in La Vall de Gallinera ( Alicante Province, Spain)........will be held 4-5 June.......and today, a group of us from our U3A went up to the valley, and visited the Cherry Cooperative.
There have been fewer cherries this year, because of the shortage of rain......but the quality of the cherries is very good!

My Blip shows some of the crates of cherries that were being taken into the Cooperative, as we arrived.
The cherries we bought, and have brought home, are wonderfully delicious!!
