Van Gogh

Went to a fabulous Van Gogh exhibition in Arles. There were 31 of his paintings on view. It was interesting to see how his style of painting changed when he went to Provençe, and how they became much more colourful. One of my favourites was of pollarded osiers on a river bank....(Saules Tetards au Soliel Couchant) a painting I'd never seen. I decided not to blip one of his pictures because I couldn't decide which to choose! The Glenn Brown exhibit 'Suffer Well'... A series of new works inspired by Van Gogh.
