38 Years

I'm in the good books. I remembered the anniversary and I got a card and the flowers. Our wedding was on a baking hot Saturday in 1978. I wore a three piece suit and a white carnation. My bride wore white and was absolutely gorgeous. I couldn't believe my luck then and I still can't. I have no idea where all those years have gone. And they said it would never last.
