Misty morning Shetland
I got up this morning at about 5am to go to the bathroom and looked out of the cottage windows. You couldn't see across the drive. By the time we got up just after 7am, it was starting to lift and you could see the mist was not thick as the sun was poking through. So after breakfast we hopped in the car and drove to the top of Scousburgh Hill just nearby. I found the conditions for photography quite tricky and have had to settle for a photo of Spiggie Loch, the view towards Fitfull Head, Scousburgh Bay and Colsay taken halfway back down the hill, when most of the mist had actually cleared.
Later this morning we are off to walk around West Burra.
Do go large for the full panorama effect.
We were both there, and he was pointing east. A different sort of effect.
