Paeoniaceae

Something quite irresistable about the folded complexity of the Peony flower, even though such non-native plants aren't really 'up my strasse', so to speak. Interestingly, there's been a non-native, naturalised population of Paeonia mascula on Steep Holm (N Somerset) since 1803, and on Flat Holm (Glamorgan) since the 1980s.
