Morris Dancing

went to Arkesden village in Essex to see Morris Dancing at pub called Axe & Compass the hardest place to find nearly gave up, glad we didn't as it was picturesque some of the houses and the pub had thatched rooves, very chocolate box, so armed with our various tipples we watched the dancing, two teams one from a place called Thaxted and the other from Standon, when it got to dark for dancing we were treated to the musicians from both teams playing there accordions,violin and spoons and singing, which at one point they played one we all knew the chorus too "Down at the old Bull and Bush "which we all sang heartily to had a lovely evening, had to use my iphone torch to see the way to my car, as boy is it dark in those villages. off to Legoland now...
