Welsh poppies

Poppies do have a habit of popping up in all the wrong places, but how can you pull them up when they are so pretty. The ones in my garden came from Wells in Somerset many years ago when I was on holiday, I picked a couple of seed heads and brought them home.

We were worried when we found water dripping down from the bathroom via the dining room light, we thought at first it was from the central heating pipes which would have meant taking floor boards up, but it turned out to be the sink tap that is leaking and the water seeping under the floorboards and finding a hole where the light fitting is. At least it can be fixed with not too much of a problem except we need a new bathroom carpet now.
