Over and Gone

But for the sweet voice of my wife on the phone and the joyous greeting I received from my pups when I got home, this was a day to remember to forget. Corporate right sizing or downsizing or employee realignment....call it what you want. When it hits the ones you love, it is impossible to find much joy in the day.

Surely my day was not perfect and this drive-by image is really quite bad. But I remember that which my grandfather taught me. He always said that the beauty of tomorrow is that it is a new day which means this day one just had is over and gone forever. That is always the promise of the day after today.




I cannot thank you adequately for the kind response I received on the blip of my daughter's message to me. I love my family and the fact that I can share them with you makes me feel even greater warmth.

My business life is on overdrive right now so having the time to be on blip as much as I wish is simply not an option. In fact, I think it is about to get worse. I hope and believe you understand and, for that, I am thankful. I feel fortunate to be here at all.
