Early Bird

An early blip, as we are off to Suffolk tomorrow. We did our monthly Wetlands Bird Survey today, slightly ahead of schedule as we won't be here to do it on Sunday. There wasn't a great deal around - or at least we didn't see a great deal as the trees are pretty much in full leaf. I did photograph a pair of Nuthatches busily attending to a nest but the colours came out very oddly,  and I liked the background better on this female Mandarin Duck.
Thank you for the stars and hearts on yesterday's Little Owl. It was such a lovely surprise to see it one my way home.

I've posted details of a Chatsworth Blipmeet in July on the forum - myself and two blippers I met up with previously at Yorkshire Sculpture Park thought we would like to meet up again. It would be nice to see anyone else who can make it!
