A beret good day!

Well, I just had to test drive the new beret today...and who better than the team to try it out for me. We crossed over into the Dark Side and went to Holmfirth today, I was a driver again but it is quite a nice drive over the moors to the top where we have the session. I don't know where the donors come from because we are in a room in a hotel in the middle of nowhere, all you can see are the moors for miles. 

Anyway, we had a lovely day, there were lots of laughs especially when people tried the yellow beret on.We had all taken different bits in for our tea and we had a little buffet. I think some of the fizzy pop had too much sugar in as we were all a little giddy, although the donors shared a few laughs with us and enjoyed it all. 

I practised my Victoria Wood impressions and entertained....it was funniest do it for our youngest team member who, sadly, hasn't heard of VW and didn't know what I was going on about. I kept sidling up to her in Julie Walters style and saying, "Are you ready to order?" I just love the sketch where she is a waitress and serves the soup. Ashleigh had no idea what I was doing, she thinks I'm off my trolley....speaking of which he he he....

I've just been reminded that it is Film Star Friday tomorrow.....just tag it  FSF10. I have no idea what I'm going to do yet, but I'm looking forward to seeing what people come up with. We had a few new people joining in last time which was fab. Anyone who wants to have a go just interpret it any way you wish, any film or film star....just have fun :))
