Tamworth, Staffordshire
No prospect today of a suntan. Spent every chilly, daylight hour in doors. So much for the first day of summer.
Free time was limited to the evening, beginning with the last skittles match of the season and my first bowl through. The bowl through was because Cath had been in Leeds for a funeral (the Mayo diaspora), returning so late there were risks she might not make every connection. So I arranged to collect her from Tamworth railway station at 9:50 and cut out the stuff which would have followed.
