Parts of wind turbine towers, lying by Inverness Marina, awaiting transport to their operating destinations. All the orange capped ones have been made by WTS - Wind Towers (Scotland) - and shipped to Inverness from Campbeltown (on the cargo ship, "Arctic Rock"). Previous ones were coming from Portugal. The mostly fibreglass turbine blades have come from Turkey, and electrical bits and pieces (i.e. generator etc.) from Germany. As ever, taken from the Kessock Bridge.
