From battleships to Minis
Plant Oxford was today's destination, the home of MINI. It was a driving day and a chance to see some new limited edition models and also take a factory tour.
This camouflaged MINI Clubman was eye-catching. It is disguised in something called 'Blast camo', an eye-tricking pattern that originates from a design first used to make wartime battleships less easily spotted by U-boats.
If you see a car dressed up like this, and the pattern is yellow-and-black, it's an under-development MINI. White-and-black means a disguised new BMW, and blue-and-black is an i-badged electric model.
