DawnAgain

(of bones) Following a bad night's sleep due to Mr DawnAgain coughing and Basil scratching, I took the dogs for an early walk over the common and then headed off to Winchester to see a man about some bones. We hadn't agreed a particular time, fortunately, so I suppose it didn't really matter that my satnav took me on a wild goose chase, wasting half an hour of my day. Still, on the bright side, I got to see some pretty Hampshire villages I'd never seen before.

Anyway, I finally arrived at 10.30-ish and then spent a very pleasant day in the museum store laying out and recording skeletons. The curator was really nice and so was the volunteer osteologist (and other volunteers) - I even had lunch with them. I didn't get everything finished so have agreed to go back for another day fairly soon.

When I got home, in the knowledge that I would be cycling, I binged on some rhubarb and custard...which made me late for pedal-off and I missed the ride :/ I am quite tired though so maybe a quiet night in was the best option.
