Breakfast at Lori's

Having got in rather late, I was pretty wiped out and hadn't quite grasped the grand scale of the hotel in which I feel extremely lucky to be staying in. Quite frankly, the one I stayed in in Utah completely fitted the bill. This place is in another league altogether. Loosely based on my house, the lobby is immense and just makes you want to gawp in amazement. It has some fast whhite car parked in one corner, similarly to in our house, with multiple of the number one son's fleet dotted around the place, you were wondering what the loosely based implied now weren't you.

Breakfast was therefore at Lori's, very nice too.

Down to the office through the Tenderloin and other parts of the city. I actually found the 2 block transition to the other side of the tracks more stark than I'd imagined it. Yes, very lucky in that hotel....

Back home up frighteningly steep hills, maybe it will be cabs home time. That said, maybe I'll lose some of the weight I put on trying to politely try to eat at least half of what was served to me.

Back blip of some exciting first time baseball action.
