I Wish it was Mine.

I moved my meconopsis this spring, all ten or so, and they don't like their new surroundings. I'm hoping they will settle eventually.

So I was overjoyed to realise this afternoon that we'd visited the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh, aka 'The Botanics', on the perfect day to get a fix of that blue that only Himalayan poppies have. Drifts of them! Why do I bother?

The weather helped. Brilliant sunshine - lasted maybe six hours. Cloudy again now, but it was magic while it lasted.
