Perfect afternoon

Hard to choose a photo that conveys adequately the perfection of this afternoon on Loch Striven-side, but perhaps this field golden with buttercups and the Arran hills in the blue distance will go some way to fill the bill.

The sun was hot, not to say fierce, but there was a slight cool breeze and birdsong filled the silence. 

As I said, a perfect afternoon.
