thursday night football

as a non-fan, i thought this game was played all day sunday and often a game or so on monday night. tonight i learned otherwise.

the whole thing started off with a bang - actually a bunch of bangs (seen from the smoke in the photo) - there's a lot of tension before the start of the game, and being as two rivals were head-to-head tonight, this was intensified.

so marks my first ever professional football game. i've been out to support the team while in school, but this was far bigger. of course, after kickoff, my attention quickly veered from the field to the people in attendance - lots of arrests, disorderly conduct, urination in all sorts of different places - yeah, another great night of football.

final score - 34 - 7 for the chargers!
