1958 (3): Hudson River Reserve Fleet

Late afternoon - exactly 58 years ago - my father and grandparents started their trip, leaving NY northwards and driving along the Hudson river up to Cornwall, NY. On the way they stopped at a viewing point, and took a shot of the Hudson River Reserve Fleet. I have never heard that name before and found some interesting links on the internet:
