Yellow

The little'un had been asking to help photograph one of the yellow poppies for ages, so tonight we had a go. Also thought it would be nice to use one of the vintage lenses that belonged to Mrs G's dad. 

Came out quite nice I think. Certainly an improvement on yesterday's somewhat ropey pic.

The lens (in case you're wondering) is a Zeiss Jena 135, and it's quite something to play with... Think I'll keep it in the mix for a while and see what it can do.

The only problem is the aperture appears to be stuck wide open... no matter.. it'll make for some bokehlicious fun later on no doubt.

Onwards and upwards...
