Belfry bats??

What a vile day, first day of summer as well! 
I spent a couple of hours driving home in constant rain, it was horrible! and so totally cold.
I did manage to stop off once on the way home to enjoy two last Essex churches.
This is the belfry at St Mary's church Fryerning, once again it seems that doves have taken over living with the bells!
My extra is St Lawrence church Blackmore, an interesting Norman priory church. I personally love the huge wooden tower, which somehow seems out of place to the rest of the church. Sadly it was locked, so I didn't get a chance to have a peep inside.
