Another brief blip tonight I'm afraid.

Doctor appointment this morning to discuss my rapidly disintegrating body the knee, the wrist and the persistent sore throat/ ear infection. After that it was a blizzard of MCERTS clause 4.08 and ISO14001 clauses 4.4.4, 4.4.5 and 4.5.4. You know the ones - "Document Control/ Documentation/ Control of Records"; that kind of shit.

Auditors both love and hate those clauses as they mean an audit can be like shooting fish in a barrel or needlessly clogged with unimportant bollocks. I'm flipping determined it will be neither come October and December when the biggies are due.

The colour of the flower (just outside in the front garden) is no mere happenstance. Today the Scottish government voted to legalise same-sex marriages.

What a wonderful thing to happen; it's almost as if we are living in a twenty-first century enlightened society!

To the Roman Catholic church who opposed it - "Fuck you". To the "senior Muslim organisations" who opposed it - "Fuck you too". To the "evangelical and Presbyterian churches who opposed it... well you know the pattern.

Just the thought of fundamental sectarian bigots feeling sad is enough to make me feel all warm and fuzzy. Now for the rest of the UK please?
