Through a glass lightly

My favourite bloom in the garden and a red rose made it's way into the vase too.
My brother visited me for the first time this year - having been in hospital most of the last year, with the odd weekend out for good behaviour , which usually ended with an ambulance rushing him back in  - he is very shaky on his pins and still too thin , but it was wonderful to show him the studio in the garden that we have discussed so much, I think he rather liked it !
