Mother's Day

Today I got my Mother's Day treat from daughter Grace as she is visiting for half term

We had afternoon tea at Ashmount House in Haworth and it was delicious. Grace has stayed here twice, once on her wedding night so it is a special place and it was nice to be able to share it with her.

It is a lovely old house so I decided to give the picture a bit of a vintage vignette so that the focus is all on the food. That is definitely where our focus was though we did get a bit of a guided tour at the end and a wander around the gardens.

Unfortunately for the first of June it was decidedly chilly!
