I could show you any number of pictures of complicated manoeuvres in and out of canal locks.  I could show you high water, low water, water rushing through paddles, lock gates opening, closing - and all the other things that happen when you take a narrowboat on a canal.  But when all's said and done, the important thing is who you're with - sharing the hard work and all the fun that goes along with it.
