Big long walk Wednesday

This morning we woke up and do you know what?.....................  Mr Sunshine had disappeared.  I had my normal trek around town.  It was still warm but very cloudy so Ann said, ‘Molly, there’ll be no sunbathing today.  Let’s go to Truro and then I’ll take you on big long walk.’  So that is what we did.

 Now that the end is in sight with the 'big Edinburgh flat refurbishment', Ann is panicking that the builders will disappear and not be around to finish the little jobs – stuff like putting up curtain rails and toilet roll holders, etc.  So today I had to sit in the car and wait while Ann went to ‘The Range’ & ‘Homebase’ and bought curtain rails.

 Then off we went to 'Tehidy Country Park' (where Ann’s friend, Angela lives).  We had a very nice walk through the woods and down to the sea at Portreath.  And then we walked back along the coast path to Tehidy.  And I got to splish and splash & splosh in the streams.  Unfortunately the last stream I went splish, splash, sploshing in, was very muddy……………………  So when I got back to Angela’s house I had to have the hose pipe turned on me??

Fabulous afternoon.  And now I’m very sleepy!!!
